Good for T5

Does unfortunately not fit a T6 transporter. Could be solved by cutting of a section of the bottom track.

Jan, it really should fit as the vans are practically identical. Please contact our customer services team (help@kiravans.co.uk) and we can investigate for you.

Good fitting for side windows, excellent curtain quality

Was easy and good to install, fitting of rails was good. Screws cold be special metal sheet screws and much shorter.

Overall i would recommend, nice idea with stretch curtain and also very good communication and reliable delivery to EU.
Make some small improvements and you are perfect. Thanks.

I have a VW T6.1 Transporter Van. At the beginning I asked myselfe how I can darken the windows. Wraping? Curtains? The decision to use these curtains was the best choice. Looks great. Installation was simple. Good quality.

Mostly perfect

The quality of the material ist very nice and it feels very smooth. The alu stripes don't fit perfect but good enough. Also the end Caps are not perfect for installation and I had some screws to cut. But all in all I'm happy with it and there's no other easy way to make the van so dark.

Great quality surpassed only by the service

I'd ordered the curtain without proper checks and established I'd ordered the wrong set (sliding door version has shorter rails). As soon as I'd raised this with the support staff a simple email resulted in a replacement set sent out before I'd even had a chance to re-box the original.

They arrived the next day and fitment was top. The only consideration is a wider **** head as the ones provided do easily strip unless your careful

In summary I'm very happy with the product and being a second order with kiravans would thoroughly recommend for service alone. There awesome

High quality curtains

I bought a set of blackout curtains for my van for the sliding door and opposite not sliding door.
I had some problems with the screws to find grip in the body of the van. Because I isolated the van before, the screws gripped in the isolation. So I had to loosen the cardboard to pull the isolation down a bit.
After that everything worked out.
I’m very satisfied about the curtains, I have the grey side on the inside and looks very cosy and high quality.
I had to wait pretty long before they finally came back in stock. But now I understand why they are so popular and wanted.
Big up for Kiravans ✌️

Kiravans blackout campervan curtains are double-lined and ensure exceptional thermal insulation and a darker window covering than standard curtains. They also have the added bonus of being reversible, with a black finish on one side and grey on the opposite.

These are very high-quality curtains manufactured to our specification to ensure a wonderful finish in your campervan. (Our manufacturer also supplies curtains to Mercedes incorporating the same fabric and design!)

The fabric is stretchy with a fairly dense weave, giving very good light blocking and excellent thermal properties. The stretch feature of these curtains allows up to 20% extra height. The aluminium rails are robust and feature an attractive bevelled edge for a professional finish. Rails come pre-drilled and pre-bent for each window location to make fitting nice and simple.

Don't forget to watch our video below before fitting.

Many of our EU customers have been ordering from Kiravans for years. But then Brexit happened and delivering from the UK to the EU got very messy.

The good news is that we have it sorted!

You can now purchase Kiravans campervan parts from our 2 new websites - www.kiravans.com (retail) & www.kiravans-trade.com (trade). Orders placed on these websites are fulfilled from our warehouse in the Netherlands so there are no import duties or tariffs.

Our product range is very limited at the moment but every week we are shipping stock over to our new warehouse.

Our Story

Kiravans started life in 2005 as ‘Freedom Campervans’, renting out campervans in Scotland. We, Rob and Mike McCandless (brothers) combined our love of outdoor adventure with skills in Engineering and Operations Management to build a successful campervan rental company.

Rob and Mike branding the Glasgow rental office

Gradually we got into building our own vans to add to the fleet. Pretty soon we discovered just how difficult it was to source decent campervan parts quickly and easily. We experienced the frustration of trying to find reliable suppliers, who were open about pricing and easy to deal with. The conversion parts market in the UK seemed to be a closed shop with guarded secrets and over-priced, dated looking stock.

Mike's first 'official' conversion workshop

This really got us thinking. Nobody was doing this properly for the internet age, nobody was making it easy to build a campervan! So, we embarked on a mission to simplify, de-mystify and reduce the cost of building a campervan.

From a humble shipping container full of after-market van windows to selling tens of thousands of our unique ‘Double Seat Swivel’, Kiravans has demonstrated remarkable growth to become the multi million pound enterprise it is today.

Well...not much has changed!

Sure, we have a bigger team, a load more products and a few more websites (www.kiravans.co.ukwww.kiravans.comwww.kiravans-trade.co.uk) www.kiravans-trade.com) and rather than sell out the back of a beat up old shipping container we now use a 3rd party fulfilment house that takes good care of our warehousing and despatching our orders...but we really do like to keep things as simple and as straightforward as we possibly can.

The Kiravans warehouse today

We’re not complicated...we’re not glory seekers...we really just want to offer the best products and the best advice and services we possibly can. All we want is for our customers to be happy...because without you...there is no us.

For us, it’s not a case of just shifting products...our entire mission is to share both our products and conversion knowledge - a problem halved is a problem solved!

Because of the hurdles we faced back in the beginning, we are extremely passionate and motivated about sharing what we know...and how we deliver our knowledge really matters to us. That’s why we broke the rules and created a business that not only sells products we highly recommend, but also provides the installation information and a series of Kiravans ‘How to’ videos thrown in. We have a dedicated YouTube channel where we upload our videos, which is full of little surprises and big delights so you can ‘watch and go’.

What’s in store…

...to keep doing what we’re doing. To continue to look out for new products, new suppliers, new manufacturers, new opportunities, create and innovate, to share our knowledge and to constantly improve and evolve the business to meet the needs of our customers. That’s it! People buy from people and that’s the way we conduct our business. Our customer reviews really do say it all and we’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved to date.

We’re extremely grateful, along with everyone else at Team Kiravans, to everyone who has supported us on our journey and look forward to plenty more years to come!
